RBZ Wirtschaft . Kiel
First of all the tight cooperation with the RBZ Wirtschaft . Kiel must be reported here. There, the Tanzania partnership is firmly anchored in lessons and in the school programm. The organization and the settlement of projects such as encounter visits is organized by RAFIKI. The school promotes our projects and our work - for example in the Café Kilimanjaro.
In 2009 the model project "Tanzania - and me" has started in Schleswig-Holstein. It's about developing, publishing and sharing lesson units. Six schools from different parts of the province are involved in the project. RAFIKI was one of the external cooperation partners.
Hannah-Arendt-Schule - Flensburg
At the Hannah-Arendt-Schule in Flensburg we have established contacts to enable future educators to do an internship in Tanzania. We have also financially supported the project work of the interns.

Working group didactic of Geography at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel
Another cooperation we have completed with the working group didactic of Geography at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. Our joint aim is to deepen Global Learning within the training of teachers. To achieve this we provide internships for students of the university of Kiel at the KIUMAKO Secondary School. We also help while organizing the needed infrastructure (journey, formalilities, accomodation etc.).
Of course our work and the KIUMAKO benefits strongly from the cooperation.

BiBeKu Gesellschaft für Bildung Beruf Kultur mbH - Kellinghusen
BiBeKu limited company for education profession culture - Kellinghusen
We also cooperate with the BiBeKu GmbH. This private educational institution is taking care of the "weltwärts"volunteers for us and prepares all interns for their work in Tanzania. Furthermore BiBeKu organizes the charity races in Kellinghusen for us. Since February 2015 BiBeKu maintains the homepage of RAFIKI.
Gemeinschaftsschule am Lehmwohld - Itzehoe
For many years we have been supporting schools in Schleswig-Holstein while developing an own Tanzania partnership and while implementing thematic lessons. This has led to good successes, for example at the "Gemeinschaftsschule am Lehmwohld" in Itzehoe. More than one time Tanzanian guests were hosted, students of this school have actively dealt with the topic Tanzania in projects. Apart from that the school has started the project "School on the way" in cooperation with RBZ Wirschaft . Kiel and the Gemeinschaftsschule am Himmelsbarg, Morrege.
Regionales Berufsbildungszentrum Steinburg - Itzehoe
Another cooperation partner is the RBZ Steinburg in Itzehoe. Teachers of this school have built a photovoltaic system at the roof of the KIUMAKO School (2012), have installed a cistern for rain conditioning (2014) and they are going to build a biogas plant (2016).

We cooperate with the association "Zukunft durch Sonne e.V." which emerged from a student club of the RBZ Steinburg. In 2012 "Zukunft durch Sonne" installed a photovoltaic system, in 2014 they built a cistern for rain water. In 2016 they want to build a biogas plant.

This has led to good successes, for example at the "Gemeinschaftsschule am Himmelsbarg" in Moorrege. More than one time Tanzanian guests were hosted, students of this school have actively dealt with the topic Tanzania in projects. Furthermore the school offers many opportunities to help the work of RAFIKI such as the charity run in 2015.
